Yorrick Ayume
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND CO-FOUNDER
Yorrick is a creative visionary, a serial entrepreneur and a culture enthusiast. A former artist, former athlete, and a dedicated community organizer, Yorrick was born in Gabon and currently resides in the US. He is deeply passionate about Africa—its people, land, history, and its future, therefore the creation of Okani provided him with an opportunity to offer an authentic and realistic portrayal of the continent, blending his love for geography, anthropology, history, and the social sciences.
Through the game, Yorrick seeks to illuminate the topics that have shaped the continent’s past and present, presenting them in an engaging and educational way. Alongside his partner, he hopes to spark thought-provoking conversations, encourage healthy competition, and promote strategic thinking—all while ensuring amazing fun times with family, friends, and loved ones.
